1. Employment

  • Supporting internal and external audit processes.
  • Maintaining meticulous records in accordance with Colorado record retention requirements.
  • Facilitating compliance with the Colorado Department of Revenue and Secretary of State requirements for financial documentation and reporting.
  • Implementing or maintaining accounting systems and software specific to Colorado practices.
  • Providing guidance on Colorado-specific business entity structures and reporting obligations.

3. Qualifications and Licensure

5. Working Hours

6. Compensation

13. Use of Software and Data

The Employee shall adhere to all Employer policies regarding the use of software and data, including policies on financial system access, data security, and computer use under Colorado data security law.

14. Compliance with Laws

The Employee shall comply with all applicable state and federal anti-discrimination, harassment, and equal opportunity laws.

15. Recordkeeping and Documentation

The Employee shall maintain accurate and complete records and documentation in accordance with Colorado law and Employer policies, including retention periods and destruction procedures.

16. At-Will Employment

This is an at-will employment relationship, and either party may terminate the employment relationship at any time, with or without cause, subject to the notice provisions below.

17. Termination

  • Option A: The Employee shall provide [Number] weeks' written notice of resignation. The Employer may terminate the Employee's employment with [Number] weeks' written notice, except in cases of termination for cause.
