Position: Technical Support Engineer
Job Description: Employee will provide technical support, both remotely and in-person, to clients experiencing IT issues. This includes troubleshooting hardware and software, resolving network problems, escalating complex issues according to established protocols, documenting support cases/tickets in the designated ticketing system, installing and configuring enterprise hardware/software, meeting standardized ticket response times, and participating in regular technical training.
Job Description: Employee will be responsible for Level 1 and Level 2 technical support to end-users. Primary responsibilities include resolving issues related to desktop support, application support, and network connectivity. Employee will also be responsible for creating and maintaining documentation for common technical issues.
Required Skills & Certifications:
Skills: Proficiency in troubleshooting Windows and macOS operating systems, networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP), remote desktop applications, and common software applications. Strong customer service and communication skills required.
Certifications: CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP), or equivalent certifications are required. Cisco certifications are a plus.
Tools/Platforms: Experience with ticketing systems (e.g., Zendesk, ServiceNow), remote desktop software (e.g., TeamViewer, Remote Desktop Connection), and diagnostic utilities.
Reporting Structure:

Work Location & Remote Work:

Employee shall comply with the New Jersey Trade Secrets Act and applicable data breach notification laws.
Outside Activities:
Employee shall not engage in any external employment or consulting in competing technical support roles without prior written approval from the Employer.
Employee must obtain written consent from the Employer before participating in tech forums/blogs or open-source contributions that may overlap with company interests.
Compliance:
Employee shall comply with all company cybersecurity, IT usage, and customer privacy policies.
Professional Conduct:

Restrictive Covenants:
