1. Position

2. Duties

5. Work Location

Any HR-related policies, procedures, templates, or training materials developed by Employee during the course of employment shall be the sole and exclusive property of Employer.

12. Compliance with Laws

Employee shall comply with all applicable federal, state (Missouri), and local anti-discrimination, anti-harassment, and equal employment opportunity laws, including those prohibiting discrimination based on age, race, color, religion, sex, national origin, ancestry, disability, or other protected characteristics under Missouri law.

13. Internal Investigations

Employee shall conduct internal investigations and address workplace complaints (including harassment, retaliation, and whistleblower claims) in an impartial and professional manner, consistent with Employer’s policies and procedures.

14. Behavioral Standards

Employee shall uphold the highest ethical standards and professional conduct. Employee will comply with Employer’s code of conduct and all applicable Missouri state regulations pertaining to HR practices. Mandatory reporting obligations will be followed.

15. Background Checks and Drug Testing

Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a background check and/or drug test, in accordance with Missouri law. E-Verify authorization may be required.

16. Compliance Responsibilities

Employee is responsible for ensuring compliance with labor law posting requirements, maintaining accurate records, coordinating compliance training, and assisting with HR audits as mandated by Missouri and federal employment law.

17. Employment At-Will

18. Termination

This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of the State of Missouri, and venue for any legal action shall be in a court of competent jurisdiction in Missouri.

23. Continuing Education

Employee shall comply with state-mandated training and continuing education requirements for HR professionals, including updates for changes in Missouri labor law.

24. Safety Requirements

Employee shall adhere to all applicable OSHA and Missouri Department of Labor safety requirements relating to the workplace.

25. Data Privacy and Cybersecurity

Employee shall comply with all data privacy and cybersecurity requirements specific to HRIS systems and personal employee information managed by Employee in Missouri. Employee acknowledges Employer ownership of and access to all digital HR records, cloud-based systems, and the process for transfer or destruction of HR data post-termination.

26. Modification

This Agreement may be modified only by a written instrument signed by both Employer and Employee. All terms can be modified to accommodate evolving Missouri employment law and Employer business needs.
