This Full-Time Maintenance Technician Employment Contract ("Agreement") is made and entered into as of [Effective Date], by and between:

1. Employment

11. Intellectual Property
The Technician agrees that any maintenance protocols, process improvements, diagnostic routines, or custom maintenance schedules developed during their employment shall be the sole and exclusive property of the Employer. The Technician may use standard industry knowledge but assigns all rights to work product to the Employer, as per Vermont contract law.
12. Confidentiality
The Technician shall maintain strict confidentiality regarding building security codes, alarm systems, lock/key records, maintenance logs, and any sensitive information about client or tenant operations. This confidentiality obligation shall survive the termination of this Agreement.
13. Conduct and Professionalism
The Technician shall:
- Refrain from using alcohol or illegal substances while on duty.
- Provide excellent customer service.
- Adhere to the Employer’s code of conduct.
14. Restrictive Covenants
The Technician agrees to maintain the confidentiality of the Employer’s proprietary information, as defined in Section 12 above.
- Option A: Non-compete. (Note: Non-compete clauses are strictly limited under Vermont law.) Any non-compete clause must meet Vermont’s balancing of interests test.
- Option B: Non-solicitation. The Technician agrees not to solicit the Employer's customers or employees for a period of [Number] months following termination of employment.

15. Termination

17. Anti-Discrimination and Equal Opportunity
