This Oregon Accountant Employment Contract (the “Agreement”) is made and entered into as of [Date], by and between [Employer Legal Name], a [State of Incorporation] corporation with its principal place of business at [Employer Address] (“Employer”), and [Employee Legal Name], residing at [Employee Address] (“Employee”).

1. Employment

    • Compliance monitoring with GAAP and Oregon-specific accounting and tax laws.
    • Internal controls assessment.
    • Account reconciliations.
    • Budgeting and forecasting.
    • Audit preparation and support.
    • Regulatory reporting responsibilities (OREA, Secretary of State, Department of Revenue, if applicable).
    • Participation in month-end and year-end close procedures.
    • Other duties as assigned.

3. Oregon Specific Requirements

  • Option A: The Employee must possess and maintain an active Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license in good standing with the Oregon Board of Accountancy.

11. Non-Competition/Non-Solicitation

  • The Employee shall not engage in any external accounting or financial services work for potentially competing entities without prior written approval from the Employer.
