This Full-Time Janitor Employment Contract is made and entered into as of this [Date] day of [Month], [Year], by and between [Employer Full Legal Name], located at [Employer Address], hereinafter referred to as "Employer," and [Employee Full Legal Name], residing at [Employee Address], hereinafter referred to as "Employee."
Position: Full-Time Janitor
Job Description: Employee shall perform janitorial services, including but not limited to: cleaning, sanitizing, mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, trash removal, restroom maintenance, floor care, window cleaning, handling cleaning chemicals, minor repairs, refilling hygiene supplies, and setting up event facilities.

Reporting Structure
Option A: Employee will report directly to the Head Custodian.

Work Schedule

Vehicle Use
Option A: Employee will be assigned a company vehicle. Employee must possess a valid Ohio driver's license and maintain adequate insurance coverage as required by Ohio law.
Option B: Employee will not be assigned a company vehicle.
Training, Certification, and Licenses
Employee will receive training and certification as required for hazardous materials, bloodborne pathogens, or operation of motorized floor equipment. The Employer will pay for all required training mandated by OSHA or Ohio law.
Employment Status
Employment is at-will, as permitted by Ohio law, meaning that either the Employer or the Employee may terminate the employment relationship at any time, with or without cause or notice, unless otherwise specified in a separate written agreement.
Termination
Voluntary Termination: Employee shall provide [Number] days' written notice of resignation.
Involuntary Termination: In the event of involuntary termination, Employee will be paid all final wages in accordance with Ohio law. Employee must return all keys and company property upon termination.
Layoff or Reduction in Workforce

Dispute Resolution
Employee agrees to first raise any grievances with their supervisor or Human Resources. If the issue is not resolved internally, the parties may agree to mediation or arbitration. This contract shall be governed by the laws of the State of Ohio.
Subcontractors or Third-Party Agencies
The use of subcontractors or third-party placement agencies does not affect Employee's rights under Ohio law.
Eligibility to Work
Employee must provide documentation demonstrating eligibility to work in the United States and comply with E-Verify or I-9 requirements.
Outside Employment
Option A: Employee is permitted to engage in outside employment.
Option B: Employee is prohibited from engaging in outside employment that conflicts with the interests of the Employer. Employee is prohibited from accepting tips or gifts from occupants or building tenants.
