The Employee must properly handle cash/credit card information in compliance with PCI DSS and North Carolina identity theft law.
The Employee must maintain a professional demeanor and provide excellent customer service.
The Employer prohibits any form of harassment or discrimination.
10. Prohibited Conduct
Theft, unauthorized discounts, and improper handling of store property or customer information are strictly prohibited.
The Employee acknowledges the Employer’s loss prevention policies and video surveillance. Employee consents to electronic monitoring to the extent permitted under North Carolina law.
11. At-Will Employment
The Employee's employment is at-will, meaning that either the Employer or the Employee may terminate the employment relationship at any time, with or without cause or notice, unless otherwise required by law or an express written agreement.
12. Termination and Resignation
In the event of voluntary resignation, the Employee is requested to provide [Number] weeks’ written notice.

18. Weapons-Free Workplace and Drug/Alcohol Prohibitions
The Employer maintains a weapons-free workplace.
The use of illegal drugs or alcohol is prohibited.
- Option A: The Employer reserves the right to conduct drug testing in accordance with North Carolina law.
- Option B: The Employer will not conduct drug testing, other than when required by law.
19. Dispute Resolution
The Employee should first attempt to resolve any workplace disputes through the Employer’s internal complaint procedures.
