This Washington Creative Independent Contractor Agreement (the “Agreement”) is made and entered into as of [Date] by and between:

6. Expenses

7. Intellectual Property

All work product created by the Contractor pursuant to this Agreement shall be considered “work made for hire” as that term is defined under United States copyright law, and the Client shall own all right, title, and interest in and to such work product, including all copyrights, trademarks, and other intellectual property rights.

Option B: Assignment. The Contractor hereby assigns to the Client all right, title, and interest in and to the work product created pursuant to this Agreement, including all copyrights, trademarks, and other intellectual property rights.

The Contractor retains the right to display the work product in their portfolio.
