This Maine IT Independent Contractor Agreement (the "Agreement") is made and entered into as of this [Date of Signing], by and between:

18. Equipment and Environment

The Contractor is responsible for providing all equipment, tools, and personnel necessary to perform the Services. The Contractor shall comply with all applicable Maine-specific environmental/e-recycling laws regarding disposal of IT hardware or data.

19. Representations

The Contractor represents that they have the legal authority to enter into this Agreement, that they are not subject to any conflicts of interest, and that they comply with all applicable licensing or credentialing requirements for IT professionals in Maine.

20. Business Records

The Contractor shall maintain proper business records for tax compliance and audit purposes. The Client shall have access to relevant records for purposes of performance review, audit, or legal compliance.
