This Full-Time Office Assistant Employment Agreement is made and entered into as of [Date], by and between [Employer Full Legal Name], a [State of Incorporation] corporation with its principal place of business located at [Employer Alabama Address] ("Employer"), and [Employee Full Legal Name], residing at [Employee Alabama Address] ("Employee").
1. Employment
Option A: Employer hereby employs Employee as a full-time Office Assistant.
Option B: Employer hereby employs Employee as a full-time Office Assistant, commencing on [Start Date].
2. Job Description
The Employee's primary duties and responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Answering telephone calls and emails and directing them to the appropriate individuals.
- Greeting visitors and directing them to the appropriate location.
- Maintaining appointment schedules and calendars.
- Organizing and maintaining paper and electronic filing systems in accordance with Alabama data privacy and document retention statutes.
- Ordering and maintaining office supplies.
- Performing basic bookkeeping or invoice processing tasks.
- Handling office mail and deliveries.
- Supporting the usage and maintenance of office equipment.
- Assisting with meeting and event setup.
- Performing other administrative support functions as directed by the Supervisor.
Employee shall also perform such other duties as are reasonably assigned by the Employer.
3. Reporting and Training

4. Work Location

8. At-Will Employment

10. Confidentiality

11. Conflicts of Interest
The Employee agrees not to engage in any outside work that conflicts with the Employee's duties or the Employer's legitimate business interests.

Option B: Employee agrees to be bound by the attached Non-Compete Agreement that is narrowly tailored to protect confidential information and customer relationships, per Alabama Code § 8-1-190.
12. Use of Employer Property
The Employee agrees to use the Employer's property, office equipment, electronic communications (including employer-provided email, phone, computer), and internet in accordance with the Employer's policies. The Employee understands that their use of these resources may be monitored.
13. Standards of Conduct
The Employee agrees to maintain a professional demeanor, including appropriate attire, punctuality, effective communication, and teamwork, and to comply with the Employer's policies and all applicable Alabama workplace safety and anti-harassment requirements. The Employer is an equal opportunity employer and adopts the protections of federal Title VII, ADA, and ADEA as applicable in Alabama.
14. Complaint Resolution
The Employee agrees to follow the Employer's internal grievance procedures for resolving complaints.
The Employee also has the right to report violations of state or federal law to the appropriate agencies.
Any dispute arising out of or relating to this Agreement shall be resolved through [Mediation/Arbitration/Litigation in [County Name] County, Alabama], and shall be governed by the laws of the State of Alabama.
15. Background Checks
Option A: The Employee agrees to submit to periodic background checks and reference checks, in line with Alabama law.

17. Compliance with Laws

This Agreement may be amended only by a written document signed by both parties.
