This Independent Contractor Agreement (the “Agreement”) is made and entered into as of this [Date], by and between:

2. Independent Contractor Status

  • The Client and the Contractor agree that the Contractor is an independent contractor and not an employee, partner, joint venturer, or agent of the Client.
  • The Contractor is solely responsible for all applicable taxes (including self-employment taxes), insurance, and other statutory obligations arising from the performance of the Services.
  • Nothing in this Agreement shall be construed to create an employer-employee relationship between the Client and the Contractor. The contractor acknowledges that they are not eligible for unemployment compensation from the Client.
