Hawaii Office Assistant Employment Contract

This Hawaii Office Assistant Employment Contract (the “Agreement”) is made and entered into as of [Date], by and between:

and

1. Employment

2. Job Responsibilities

Employee shall perform the following duties, tasks, and responsibilities:

  • Scheduling appointments and managing calendars.
  • Preparing and filing documents.
  • Handling correspondence (phone, email, and mail).
  • Managing office supply inventory and ordering.
  • Recordkeeping consistent with local and industry standards.
  • Basic data entry.
  • Supporting meetings and company events.
  • Handling mail and packages.
  • Managing visitors.
  • Supporting HR or accounting processes as required.

Employee shall support a multi-cultural and diverse workplace, demonstrating respect and understanding for all individuals.

Employee shall perform other duties as reasonably assigned by Employer.

3. Employment Status and Work Schedule

Employee's employment status is full-time.

Employee's work schedule shall be:

10. Intellectual Property

All intellectual property created by Employee as part of their work for Employer shall be the sole and exclusive property of Employer.

11. Use of Company Equipment

Employee's use of company equipment, email, internet, and phone systems shall be subject to Employer's policies, which restrict personal use.

12. Workplace Safety

Employee shall maintain a safe and respectful work environment in accordance with Hawaii Occupational Safety and Health (HIOSH) regulations.

13. Conflict of Interest

Employee shall disclose any potential conflicts of interest.

14. Termination

Employment-At-Will:

  • Option A: Employee's employment is at-will, meaning either party may terminate the employment relationship at any time, with or without cause or notice, subject to applicable Hawaii law.

Notice of Resignation/Termination:

22. Non-Transferability

This Agreement is non-transferable and non-assignable without the express written consent of both parties.

Employee represents and warrants that they are eligible to lawfully work in the United States and will comply with I-9 requirements and any Hawaii-required ID verification steps.

24. Optional Elements

Employer may require Employee to participate in data security training, confidentiality training, or additional safety protocol acknowledgment.

25. Tailored Agreement

This Agreement is individually tailored to the Office Assistant role and the Hawaii workplace and is not to be construed as establishing rights or obligations for any other position.
