2. Independent Contractor Status

  • Option A: It is expressly understood and agreed that Contractor is an independent contractor and not an employee, partner, or agent of Client. Contractor is solely responsible for payment of all applicable Georgia and federal income taxes, FICA taxes (if applicable), and self-employment taxes. Contractor will provide Client with a completed IRS Form W-9. Client will issue a Form 1099-NEC to Contractor if payments exceed $600 in a calendar year.
